Through their work, they have determined that eating 2 ounces of walnuts a day has the potential to significantly lower LDL (bad) cholesterol.
They have also discovered that walnuts improve overall diet and, despite walnuts being high in calories, not necessarily contribute to weight gain.
This is great news for a food that already has wonderful health benefits, including: lots of folate, Vitamin E, and good fats.
