The first step towards improving all of your relationships

The most popular request we get at JudithDuval.com is around help for improving the relations we have with those around us, whether with our partner, family members, friends, or work colleagues.

Here are just some of the requests, all of which I am sure we can identify with in some way or other:

“I want to improve the interactions I have with my friends and family”

“I want to live from a place of love, sometimes I find myself in a bad mood and I know this impacts those that surround me”

“I would like to improve my relationship with my daughters and their mother, who I am separated from”

“I would like to feel less alone and closer to my family and friends”

The tool that I am going to share with you today is life changing.  It will help you improve your interactions with others, live from a place of love, improve your relationships, and help you feel and actually become closer to those are around you.  It is a meditation that is foundational to any efforts you may make towards improving the relationships in your life.

This type of meditation is known as Loving-Kindness or Metta mediation.  Why do I find this meditation to be so powerful? Because it guides us through giving that which we want to receive.  In everything that we may want to have in our lives, we must begin with giving it ourselves.  It’s one of the laws of the universe: We will not receive that which we do not give.  Sometimes we think we are already giving.  But here’s the key: it is more than just what we give with our actions.  It is applies to what thoughts we give to others, the energy we bring to interactions, and the intention we show up with.

This meditation helps us to have consistency in our thoughts, energy, and our deep down wishes and desired.  In essence, consistency between our actions and our intentions.  It is by far, one of my favorite meditations.

Here's a great video of a Loving-Kindness meditation.  I hope this resource is of service to you!

Do you know someone who would benefit from practicing this beautiful meditation? Share this article with them, or share it with your friends and family so they can also start creating the life they want to live.  As always, leave a comment or question below, I would love to hear from you.
